Campaign Magazine's 50th anniversary issue is celebrating the Best Ads in 50 years and amongst these chosen classics are some of the more memorable slogans such as "Happiness is a cigar called Hamlet", “I bet he drinks Carling Black Label” and ”If only everything in life were as reliable as a Volkswagen”.
Which slogans do YOU remember? Have any stood the test of time and are still in use today? Think “Have a break, have a KitKat”, “Just Do It”, “Vorsprung Durch Technik” …. An inspiring slogan or jingle can provide a lasting legacy that is priceless in terms of brand recall and added value.
But for a creative looking to come up with a new slogan or jingle, the increasingly tricky challenge is in finding something completely original. It's a rare skill to come up with something both original and memorable, but we're looking forward to seeing any new additions to future lists... and to looking back in another 50 years!

A Finger of Fudge The very paragon of a catchy and memorable jingle. People can sing it today even if they weren’t born when it first appeared in 1977.
